Microsoft outlook is brilliant software application to manage your mails from your provider like Gmail/Outlook/Live/Hotmail/Yahoo etc. Microsoft Outlook work offline for you to manage your emails from your computer even you are offline or online but after scan mails from your inbox. In this article i’m going to talk about error with following line cannot display the folder microsoft outlook cannot access the specified Sometime users face this error without their knowledge they cannot solve it with simple way. But it is so easy to solve this issue on your computer with some commands.

Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016

Follow Method 1:

  1. Close Outlook
  2. Open Start Menu
  3. Find & Open (Run)
  4. Type Outlook.exe /cleanviews
  5. Hit Enter
  6. Restart Your Computer/Laptop
  7. You’re done

Follow Method 2:

Method two is absolutely working for those  who applied method 1 and that doesn’t work for you. It will reset your all navigation options and settings so don’t worry it will not delete your files or anything data. Just follow these lines,

  1. Close Outlook
  2. Open Start Menu
  3. Find & Open (Run)
  4. Type Outlook.exe /ResetNavPane 
  5. Note: Please give (space) between outlook.exe(space)/ResetNavPane
  6. Restart Your Computer/Laptop
  7. You’re Done

Follow Method 3:

Sometime you need to delete or rename the OST file in your outlook folder so please those who are facing OST error follow these lines.

  1. Close Outlook
  2. Open Start Menu
  3. Find & Open (Run)
  4. Type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Outlook\
  5. Find the .ost file (Maybe you need to show your hidden files if you cannot see .ost file)
  6. After deletion .ost file just restart your computer/laptop
  7. You’re done
